The Karim airer can be mounted on most surfaces e.g., brick or drywall. Depending on the surface, different screws and anchors may be required.

The Karim wall mountable airer is made from sustainably sourced solid beechwood (frame), powder-coated aluminium (drying rails), and nylon (drying grids).

Powder coating is colour finishing technique where powder is used instead of paint. The dry powder is applied to the charged surface of the product and fuses to the metal’s surface. This forms a thick, highly durable finish that surpasses the durability of painted metal.

Unlike chrome or stainless-steel rails, aluminium rails are guaranteed to never rust. Aluminium rapidly reacts with oxygen, creating a thin, protective layer of aluminium oxide that prevents further oxygen from reaching the metal. This safeguards aluminium products against further corrosion.  

The Karim comes completely assembled and ready to install.

When closed, it is 68cm W x 3 cm D x 119cm H.

The longer, middle drying grid has four extra rails which extend about 25cm past the lower drying grid. This leaves you space to hang your long items, without needing to sacrifice the line space of the lower drying grid.
